What will you do?

  • Perform internal quality assessment reviews for Health Information Management Service Center (HSC) coders.
  • Lead and coordinate all functions of coding quality reviews (routine, pre-bill, policy-driven, and incentive plan-driven) for inpatient and outpatient coding across multiple HSCs.
  • Ensure coding staff adheres to national guidelines, HSC policies, and company coding policies.
  • Apply expert-level knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts.
  • Participate in special projects or reviews, maintaining accuracy and productivity standards (95% accuracy, 95% productivity).
  • Keep coding knowledge current by reviewing official data quality standards, guidelines, policies, and clinical resources.

What will you need?

  • Undergraduate degree in HIM/HIT preferred (Associate's or Bachelor's).
  • Active RHIA, RHIT, and/or (mandatory).
  • Extensive experience auditing MS-DRG inpatient coding:
    • 3+ years of hands-on MS-DRG auditing in a hospital setting.
    • 10+ years of total medical coding experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise across all body systems (not limited to one specialty, such as Orthopedics).
  • Ability to pass a coding test: 20 multiple-choice/true-false and 5-7 behavioral questions (90 minutes).
  • Reside in an eligible state (not available for California, Alaska, New York, or Colorado candidates).

Job Description:

The Manager of Payroll Operations and Systems is primarily responsible for supporting the Lawson Payroll system as well as other systems that relate to payroll. This role will be an integral team member supporting various payroll systems projects and troubleshooting complex technical issues. This will include supporting various customer bases, being knowledgeable about different applications, and performing miscellaneous configuration changes. This position will become familiar with all areas within the payroll organization in order to provide oversight and guidance. This position is part of a larger payroll systems team and is expected to operate within a rapidly changing work environment.

Job Responsibilities (DAY to DAY)

  • Schedules and conducts meetings with internal departments and external as needed in support of the payroll function.
  • Assist with payroll system configuration, setup
  • Interact and effectively communicate with internal IT&S and support team to troubleshoot functional system issues
  • Works closely with Payroll Service Centers (PSC) to support payroll function of the organization
  • Assists with maintenance needs and system functionality questions
  • Conducts investigations as warranted, resulting from communicated issues
  • Keeps leadership informed of the status of work efforts
  • Acts as a resource to PSC and division/facility leadership for payroll related items
  • Contributes to training and education materials for use in training; presents training materials as applicable
  • Maintains confidentiality with all information

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Relevant experience may substitute education requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR/Payroll
  • Experience with healthcare preferred
  • Experience with Infor/Lawson preferred, WORKDAY, KRONUS
  • Certified Payroll Professional considered a plus

This role requires strategic planning, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced, technical environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project execution, stakeholder management, and process optimization within aerospace, engineering, or related industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

    • 5–10 years of experience in project/program management, project engineering, systems engineering, or product development.
    • Proficiency with project management frameworks, tools, and software.
    • Experience working with government and commercial aerospace clients, including familiarity with launch vehicles and payload development.
    • Hands-on experience with CubeSats, Small Satellites, or spaceflight hardware.
  • Nice to have:
    Master’s degree in a relevant field.
    • Familiarity with biological or chemical processes and laboratory principles.

Certifications:

  • PMP certification required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
